Our Story

Hey! I’m Coral, during my maternity leave I founded MADE Studio Manchester, with the support and help of my loving partner Matt. 

 

When becoming a mum, I soon realised, after a 10 year career as a fashion designer, that my priorities had changed and I wanted to be my own boss, and have a job that fit into my expectations of being a parent. It needed to be something that was more local and creative as my previous career was extremely demanding and required extensive travel. 

 

One night I was in feeding our baby and thinking of a new venture (a get out of jail card) and I decided to open our family run 'paint your own pot' studio and creative haven for all! After waking up Matt to tell him my idea at 3am, a lot of leg work learning business, finance and how kilns work, I took a leap of faith quit my job and opened the studio!

 

MADE Studio Manchester is a lifestyle business that enables me to spend more time with my baby daughter Maeve and partner Matt, while also creating a space for art and relaxation, as well as an income to support our young family. We welcome all ages and abilities to paint a varied range of pots that suit every taste. 

 

We want the studio to provide a chilled space for family outings, socialising with friends, celebrating special occasions or solo artists in need of some R&R. We ensure you have all the materials to create a hand painted treasure while making memories and taking a pause from everyday life. 

 

We also love hosting monthly themed paint and sip nights. The evening events have been an absolute joy to host, I love indulging into a theme and making the occasion extra special for creatives attending.

 

We are here when you in a creative fix, so pop in paint a pot and enjoy a brew and biscuit.
