Mobile Pottery Painting for Nursing Homes & Care Homes

Pottery painting is a gentle, therapeutic activity that supports the wellbeing of older adults, including those living with dementia, limited mobility, or feelings of isolation:

• Full 1.5 hour session (15 min setup + 60 min painting + 15 min tidy-up)

• Choice of 4 pottery items - Smaller items, mix of ornamental & functional; Including, small figure, small trinket box or dish & basic mug. 

• Each piece can be personalised with the resident’s name.

• £15 per resident (minimum 8 residents / £120 minimum charge).

• £50 flat fee – covers time, travel, glazing, firing & return delivery of finished pieces (approx. 2 weeks later).

• Full 1.5 hour session (15 min setup + 60 min painting + 15 min tidy-up)

• Choice of 4 pottery items - Medium size items mix of functional & seasonal/ornamental designs; Including plant pots, side plates, larger trinket boxes, small vase, tea cup & saucer. 

• Each piece can be personalised with the resident’s name.

• £25 per resident (minimum 8 residents / £200 minimum charge).

• £50 flat fee – covers time, travel, glazing, firing & return delivery of finished pieces (approx. 2 weeks later).

• Full 2 hour session (15 min setup + 90 min painting + 15 min tidy-up)

• Choice of 4 pottery items - Large Items mix of functional & seasonal/ornamental designs: Including large vase, dinner plate, pasta bowls, large lanterns, tea pots. 

• Each piece can be personalised with the resident’s name.

• £35 per resident (minimum 8 residents / £280 minimum charge).

• £50 flat fee – covers time, travel, glazing, firing & return delivery of finished pieces (approx. 2 weeks later).

• Fully adaptable for all abilities and energy levels

• Beautiful finished pieces that residents and families can treasure or display

• Increased resident engagement, positive behaviours, and stronger community spirit

• These sessions work beautifully as regular weekly/monthly activities or as one-off special events.

• ​Family members are warmly welcome to join (with the home’s permission) at the same per-person rate & can pay on the day.
